Newest Technology
The newest technology that I myself have most recently used would be the Ipod Touch. I am guessing that a lot of students probably wrote this on their blogs as well, because this device is the latest technology that many of us probably have. This device allows you to listen to music, watch videos, gain access to the internet, play games, and do many other things, whether they would be for entertainment or for education. It has a touch screen, so you don't have to clack on keys or push buttons. Another convenient thing about the Ipod Touch is its size, it is very small, so you can take it anywhere. This is the latest technology that I have used.

My Hero
All in all, my personal hero would be my great grandfather, Ted Shinkle, who passed away in the summer of 2009. I have several reasons for calling him a hero, one of them being that he was a strong and honest man. He was also a patriot, he served in the army during World War II, and always supported his country. However, the thing that really makes him a hero in my eyes is the fact that he was a man who loved his family. I remember opening gifts on Christmas at his house, and jumping at the sound of fireworks on the Fourth of July. Everybody in my family loved him, and we all dropped tears at his funeral. Life will never be the same without him, but he will never be forgotten.
